Jacci Thompson-Dodd: Creator of the Thrivorship Movement

Jacci Thompson-Dodd is a women’s health educator and certified oncology social worker with over a decade serving the cancer community. She is founder and CEO of WeSpeakLoudly, LLC, a women’s health education and advocacy firm.

Ms. Thompson-Dodd has served as a consulting member of the psycho oncology team at Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle, WA, teaching the Thrivorship curriculum and leading several cancer support groups.

She is also a consultant to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, on a study of African American breast cancer survivors.
Ms. Thompson-Dodd is author of “WHOLE: 12 Principles for Rebuilding Life After Breast Cancer,” a practical guide for women to make an individualized Thrivorship Plan, now in its second edition.

She holds masters degrees in both Social Work and Afro-American Studies from Boston University, and received her certification in Cancer Patient Navigation from the Harold P. Freeman Patient Navigation Institute in New York.

She resides in Seattle, WA.
